DIIPF 2009: Based on the success of the DIIPF 2008 event, EDC is aiming to organize this event annually with different initiatives & activities.

Background (DIIPF 2008):  As part of the Dubai Export Development Corporation long term objectives, a number of initiatives and technical support programs have been started. The aim of these programs and initiatives centered on strengthening and expanding Dubai's manufacturing capabilities and capacities.

Dubai Industrial Investment and Partnership Forum (DIIPF) 2008 was held for the first time in February in the World Trade Center for 3 days. The event was a start point for the SMI’s from the Emirate to meet with major regional and international buyers to market their capabilities, capacities and look into expanding their businesses through long term partnership. In addition, there were a seminar and workshops where 10 industrial opportunities profiles were presented and distributed among the participants. Also there was an exhibition consisted of both manufacturing companies and supporting Government entities
